It takes many different skills from a lot of different people to provide the services and the environment at The WaterLeaf. Assisted living is about providing assistance to the elderly in the activities of daily living. But it’s bigger than just that. It involves the caregivers, certainly; but also the housekeepers, cooks, nurses, activity providers, care coordinators, maintenance people, van drivers, and front desk administrators to come together as a team to work with integrity and compassion for a purpose bigger than any one individual – providing a home-like environment to our residents.
To this end, we hire only the best people. Our employees exercise good judgement and work to ensure good outcomes because they care. It matters to them, individually. Each person takes personal responsibility and pride in their work, and they trust their fellow employees to do the same. This creates a positive and uplifting work environment that employees enjoy being a part of.
